Aiolos wind was founded by Stephan Mussgnug in early 2019 on the back of several years of experience in the wind energy industry focused on engineering, data analytics and project management.

The company name "Aiolos" comes from the greek god of wind, which is synonymous with adaption and nimbleness. While we are far from an ancient greek deity, we do take the values of adaption and nimbleness to heart. It is therefore our mission to bridge the gap between classical engineering and data science, and provide the wind industry with this unique hybrid skillset.
